Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) helps to reduce swelling in your limbs caused by Oedema.

MLD manually causes muscle contractions which stimulates the lymph valves to open and shut. This allows the drainage of fluid into another area of the body that is not congested and overloaded with excess fluid.

We are trained in Dr. Vodder's Manual Lymphatic Drainage technique which uses stationery circles, scoops, pumps and rotary movements. It increases and decreases pressure creating the necessary pumping effect in the direction of the lymph flow. The technique is generally applied to dry skin.
